Questions

How long will the DJI Power 1000 run a refrigerator?
About 15 hours for a typical ENERGY STAR full-size fridge averaging 58 W, assuming 85% inverter efficiency. Older or larger fridges use more. Try your own numbers.
Can the DJI Power 1000 run a microwave?
Yes. A typical 1,000 W microwave pulls about 1,500 W from the outlet, within its 2,200 W continuous output. A full battery gives about 35 min of cooking.
How long does the DJI Power 1000 take to charge?
DJI's published charging claim: “0–100% in 70 min (0–80% in 50 min)”. Max AC charging power is 1,200 W. With solar, it accepts up to 800 W (200 W per input). With 800 W of panels that's roughly 1.7 hours of good sun from empty.
Is the DJI Power 1000 expandable?
No. Its capacity is fixed at 1,024 Wh.
Does the DJI Power 1000 work as a UPS?
DJI lists a 20 ms switchover time, so it can keep devices like routers and computers running when the power drops. Check that your specific device tolerates the switch before relying on it for anything critical.
